American actor and screenwriter best known for his roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He was Melvin Potter in Netflix's Daredevil and Corporal Lyle Wainfleet in James Cameron's Avatar series. He has also appeared in episodes of shows such as Dexter, Grimm and Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior. 

Before Fame

He grew up in Miami, Florida and attended the University of Pennsylvania. His first role was in the 1998 film Starstruck where he played a patrolman. In 2003 he played a S.W.A.T Team Leader in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines.
