19th-century performer who was one of the pioneers of the American rodeo. In 1997, he was inducted into the Texas Trail of Fame. In 2003, he was inducted into the National Multicultural Western Heritage Museum and Hall of Fame.
Before Fame
He began working on a ranch after ending his schooling in the fifth grade.
Trivia
He was inducted into the National Rodeo Cowboy Hall of Fame in 1971. He died after being kicked in the head by a bronco.
